Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using UGCio ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and UGCio ("we", "us", or "our").
2. Description of Service
UGCio is a mobile application that helps User-Generated Content (UGC) creators manage their professional portfolios, set rates, track brand deals, create invoices, and publish web-based profile pages. The App stores data locally on your device and offers an optional web presence feature at ugcio.app.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
UGCio offers an auto-renewable subscription ("UGCio Pro") that provides access to premium features.
- Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
- Subscription Price: $9.99 per month after the free trial ends.
- Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial period.
- Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > UGCio.
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not directly collect or store any payment information.
4. User Content
You retain all ownership rights to the content you create and store within UGCio, including portfolio items, profile information, rate cards, and invoices.
If you choose to publish a web profile through the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and display that content on ugcio.app for the purpose of making your profile accessible to the public. This license ends when you unpublish your profile or delete your data.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use UGCio to:
- Upload or publish content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
- Misrepresent your identity or qualifications
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
- Use the App for any purpose other than its intended use as a creator portfolio and business management tool
6. Intellectual Property
The UGCio app, including its design, code, branding, and features, is owned by UGCio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.
7. Disclaimers
UGCio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or iOS updates. We recommend regularly backing up your device.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UGCio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
9. Termination
You may stop using UGCio at any time by deleting the App from your device. We reserve the right to suspend or remove published web profiles that violate these Terms. Upon termination, any data stored locally on your device remains under your control.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
